About the Artist

 L.S. Brownlee, Studios

Internationally Collected Artist

"I've been creating art all of my life, and began painting seriously in 1990 and most of my experience has been with oil portraits. I have been fortunate to have been commissioned in the past by many of the NASCAR race drivers and team owners to paint portraits of them and their race cars and trophies.  One of my portraits is hanging in the Richard Childress Racing Museum in North Carolina. My paintings are collected nationally and internationally.

In addition to oil and a combination of oil and acrylic portraits, I have painted landscapes, still-lifes, and abstracts. Many of my customers have collections of my work. I have also joyfully painted whimsical "Flower Shoes" in watercolors.   These make great gifts and I take special requests.  You will see here that I have painted all of the birthday flowers which also make a great gift. Why not give her a print instead of just a birthday card.  All of the prints available can be made into packs of Note Cards.  They are sold in a set of 10 in a gift box.

I had the honor of being asked by Walt Disney Epcot Center to sell my "Flower Shoe" paintings at their yearly Flower and Garden Festival.

My prints and note cards are being sold at the Craddock Terry Hotel in Lynchburg, VA.

Note:  These are not ordinary prints that you may purchase elsewhere.....My prints are on heavy watercolor paper and are embellished or enhanced with watercolor paint, ink/pencil, and signed by me before shipping.  It is sometimes hard for me to tell which is an original and which is a print   For that reason the prints are not "named" on the front as the originals are. The name is written and numbered on the back.

All paintings should be framed with a mat to keep the picture and glass from touching.

Don't forget that shipping is discounted for multiple purchases when shipped together.

I ship to the U.S., Canada, UK, and EU.  If you are from another country please write to me at artstudio.t2r@comcast.net for shipping rates.

Because of the delicate nature of the prints etc. they could be damaged in the mail if not packed well for returns, so no returns or exchanges will be accepted and all sales are final.  I pack them with cardboard so that they will arrive safely.
